1836 Capped Bust Half Dime. V-6, LM-5. Rarity-2. Small 5C. MS-64 (PCGS). Toned with a yellow-gold and blue mixture over the entire surface. The strike is sharp enough on the central devices. Minor evidence of die clashing on the obverse before Liberty's face, and repunching is noted on stars eleven and twelve, as well as the N of UNITED. Impressive quality for this type or variety.
