Description du lot: Lot 390 1854 N-5 R3 Repunched 18 PCGS graded MS62 Brown.Frosty medium brown and light chocolate. The fields are satiny and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Looks mint state but a glass reveals there is a touch of rub on the highest points of the devices. The only marks are a puff of slightly darker toning at star 4 and another surrounding star 8 plus a spot at the dentils below the 8 in the date. MDS, die state b. The repunching above the 8 and left of the 1 is dull but visible. Our grade is AU55,tied for CC#15 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
