1814 Capped Bust Dime. JR-3. Rarity-2. Large Date. MS-65 (PCGS). Frosty golden gray with lively luster and attractive golden toning highlights. Nicely struck for the date and type with essentially full details nearly everywhere. Struck from lightly clashed dies. A pleasing Gem in all regards with excellent eye appeal. From the final year of dime coinage until 1820; there was no apparent demand for the denomination 1815-1819. Choice and appealing, and worthy of inclusion in an advanced dime set or type collection.
