Lot 351 1824 N-3 R2. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown.Beautiful lustrous light to medium brown with traces of faded mint red remaining visible on both sides. Just a few trivial marks including a dull nick on the body of star 4 and a tick on the upper part of the upright of the E in CENT. E-MDS. The inner circle off the dentil tips on the left side of the obverse is strong and portions of the inner circle are visible on the right side as well. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #21022. Bland says MS61. Our grade is MS60. A very nice cent and it comes with an impressive provenance. The attribution and Nancy & Bryan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; none finer in BN at PCGS.(PCGS # 36772) Value $9,000 - UP Ex Willard C.
