1847 Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. MS-61 (NGC). Flashy semi-prooflike surfaces support bold striking detail to most design elements. Bright golden-honey patina adds to the appeal as does an appearance that is very nice for the assigned grade. Rare in all Mint State grades, as the NGC population data quoted below confirms.
