1836 Modified Matron Head Cent. N-3. Rarity-1. Noyes Die State C/D. MS-64 BN (NGC). Deep chocolate-brown that verges on olive-brown on the obverse, the reverse attractive golden-brown with lively luster in play. The strike is sharp save for a couple of obverse stars, and the eye appeal easily measures up to the assigned grade.
