A regal golden-apricot example of this historic issue in the United States Mint's 20th century gold coin series. The luster is uniform and incredibly satiny, remaining entirely undisturbed by significant blemishes. A tilt beneath a light source elicits soft cartwheels on both sides, showcasing superior preservation and exceptional eye appeal. With only 1,500 Gem Mint State survivors of the issue thought to exist, the present piece is a truly significant representative.
