- 1787 Auctori Plebis Token. W-8770. URS-10. AU-53 (PCGS). Golden-brown surfaces. Little worn and struck from a shallowly engraved obverse die, as are all specimens of this copper, this specimen hosts abundant original mint luster in the fields and protected areas. A British-produced adaptation on a Draped Bust Left Connecticut by the obverse effigy and legends, the reverse however is a more classic representation of Britannia and the accoutrements of empire. Struck on a flan that is too small for the dies, effectively cutting off parts of the date and reverse legends. A high quality, problem-free specimen of the issue.<br />
