- 1862 Liberty Half Eagle. AU-53 (PCGS). Traces of luster survive in the protected areas and the surfaces are decent. Mintage of 4,430 pieces only, naturally most disappeared long ago with today fewer than 100 that survive from this year. One of the finer examples to survive and certainly in the top 10 or so percent of those known.
