1853 Braided Hair Cent. N-10. Rarity-1. MS-66 RB (NGC). Superlative cartwheel luster on smooth medium brown surfaces rich with good amount of the original mint red color, faded in fields but brightly clinging to devices and legends. The fields are immaculate and are essentially free of flyspecks. An exquisite specimen that lives up to its assigned grade. NGC Census: 34; 2 finer within the variety (MS-67 RB) . PCGS# 1902.
