This key date Indian five is a lustrous, satiny example with warm honey-apricot color throughout. Boldy struck otherwise, the S mintmark is typically soft, yet well outlined and readily identifiable. The 1913-S is the ninth rarest of 24 circulation strike Indian half eagles in terms of total number of Mint State coins known. This very attractive MS-62 represents an important find for the astute collector.
