Description du lot: We note a 10% to 20% clockwise rotation between impressions relative to the obverse, both sides showing clear traces of the initial strike that are most pronounced around the peripheries. The second strike runs off the planchet at 6 o'clock on the obverse, 12 o'clock on the reverse, although the overall design is readily appreciable, central motifs bold to sharp. Handsome steely-copper and olive-brown patina on original Choice Mint State surfaces, this is a scarce and attractive major mint error on an otherwise readily obtainable Fuld number in the Talbot, Allum & Lee series.
