1785 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.3-G.2, W-2410. Rarity-5+. Mailed Bust Right. Fine-12. 142.0 grains. Deep golden-brown surfaces exhibit uniform microporosity throughout. Obverse nicely centered, tiny rim bruise at 6 o'clock, weakness at AUCT, band of weakness across the effigy, no other marks, reverse evenly centered, rim just to bottoms of date numerals, die break and swelling at E of INDE and branch hand, no serious marks noted. Pleasing for the grade. PCGS# 316. Provenance: Paper envelope with attribution notes included.
