Struck unevenly as usually seen, but on a planchet of pretty good quality with only a couple of minor natural flaws. Earlier state with a crack connecting the tops of letters of AUCTORI. A substantial planchet just a little heavier than the normal range given by Clark. Struck in medal turn die rotation.
