1827 Matron Head Cent. N-4. Rarity-2. AU-55 (NGC). Satiny tan-brown and medium chocolate, the reverse a shade darker than the obverse. Nice surfaces with only microscopic abrasions and a few splashes of dark toning on the obverse. Frosty mint luster in the fields on each side. Provenance: From the John McBride Collection.
