Wonderfully original and breathtakingly beautiful, this is an exquisite 20th century Proof Barber quarter. Glistening golden-orange hues enhance an otherwise deep steel-violet obverse, while the reverse exhibits mottled steel-olive iridescence with areas of silvery mint brilliance remaining. The fields are noticeably reflective with gentle luster weaving through the design under a light. Precisely struck and one of the very finest examples from the mintage of 777 Proof quarters coined for collectors in 1902.
