Lot Description
1870-CC Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. EF-45 (NGC). First year of issue for the Carson City Mint and a prized rarity in high grades. The example is steel-gray with gunmetal-blue accents on both sides. The strike is average with softness on Liberty's head and hair, and most of the stars are blunt at their centers. Clean surfaces for a Carson City coin and this handsome example will certainly garner attention whenever it is shown off to any knowledgeable numismatist. PCGS# 6964.
