1871 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-66 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Secure Holder. This is the sole example of this Proof issue to be graded as Deep Cameo by PCGS, and it is truly a special coin indeed. The stark white-on-black contrast on both sides is far more pronounced than usually seen for this type. The motifs are reproduced with razor-sharp precision and the beautifully glassy fields and snow-white devices are pristine.
