1819/8 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102. Rarity-2. Large 9. AU-55 (NGC). A remarkably abrasion-free Choice AU coin, with deep gray toning across both sides that is imbued with strong accents of rose and golden patina. All three of the Ts on the reverse show attenuated bases to the right, helping to attribute this somewhat scarce Overton variety.
