1862 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. Proof-62 (PCGS). This otherwise brilliant example exhibits a light coating of subtle purple-gray iridescence that is seen over each side. Fully struck with a uniformly mirrored finish, the eye appeal is superior at the assigned grade level. The original mintage is a mere 550 pieces in Proof, and this one is about average for those that survive today. Scarce and a good type representative of the No Motto Liberty Seated dollar.
