The splendid frosty surfaces are very close to perfection. Both sides display silver-white brilliance. Virtually all design elements are fully rendered, and the eye appeal is outstanding. The 1914 has a high mintage (6,244,230 coins) and a good number were saved. Uncirculated coins in the MS-60 to MS-65 grade range always in demand for type purposes. Examples that are as well preserved as this specimen, however, are exceedingly rare and remain the province of the most advanced collectors.
