The Never-To-C.A.C. Collection. Mintage: 10,281. Both sides exhibit tantalizing lemon-gold color. Examining the details and surface quality, one might not at all realize that the 1841-C possesses a wretched reputation, with poor quality manufacturing and heavy circulation both factors in the elusiveness of nicer examples. Fear not, as the present AU-58 specimen defies the odds, and delivers accurate definition overall and far fewer abrasions than usual for the date.
