1936-D Buffalo Nickel. FS-901 (FS-019). 3 1/2-Legged. AU-55 (PCGS). A popular variety that we have become quite familiar with of late, the '36-D 3 1/2-Legged is the junior partner to the '37-D 3-Legged Nickel. The former variety is actually far rarer in numismatic circles, although it is not as well known as the '37-D 3-Legged. An impressive Choice AU, the coin we offer here is overall sharply defined with only minimal rub to the highpoints. With pretty golden toning to still partially lustrous surfaces, this coin is among the finest known for this elusive Mint error.
