"1783" (Circa 1820) Washington Military Bust Copper. Baker-4, Vlack 6-E, W-10200. Rarity-1. Large Military Bust. VF-25 (PCGS). 104.5 grains. Deep olive-brown with steel-brown high points. Evenly worn and not overly marked, especially to the naked eye. Heavy die crack, cud, and swelling at the date area, the first we recall seeing along with a reverse crack at Liberty's feet and the TWI initials. Reverse die aligned at 360 degrees or "medal turn," also unusual for the type. No doubt scarce in this die state.
