An intensely lustrous Superb Gem with otherwise brilliant surfaces that reveal just a hint of pale golden iridescence in isolated peripheral areas. The finish is satiny in texture, the in-hand appearance expectably smooth for the assigned grade. A razor sharp strike further enhances the desirability and, indeed, this is as nice and attractive as one is likely to find for the semi-key date 1911-S Barber quarter - a remarkable condition rarity from a mintage of 988,000 coins.
