Description du lot: 1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-63. Rarity-2. Head of 1794. EF-40 BN (NGC). The Fallen 4 variety, and an early die state example with no evidence of clash marks that appear in later states. Pleasing medium olive-brown surfaces exhibit the usual quota of minor surface marks consistent with the grade. A couple of marks on the NGC holder should not be confused with impairments on the coin, itself. This lot includes NGC insert #3417835-008 with a grade of EF-40 BN and S-63 attribution from a previous certification of this coin. Provenance: Collector envelope with attribution notation included.
