1817 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-106a. Rarity-4. Single Leaf. AU-55 (PCGS). A lustrous piece with even pearl-gray toning and subtle accents of rose color in the fields. An interesting variety with just one leaf below the eagle's left (facing) wing, and a curious die bar that connects the upper obverse rim to the top of Liberty's head. A very attractive example, with clean surfaces and light wear on the high points.
