Lot Description

1794 Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent. Fuld-2, W-8570. Rarity-1. With NEW YORK. Large & on Reverse. Lettered Edge. EF-45 (PCGS). This handsome, evenly patinated example is toned in warm copper-brown patina. The strike is nicely centered on both sides, isolated central features a bit blunt, but the overall detail suitably bold for the assigned grade. Minor marks in isolated areas are generally those left from the blank planchet, and traces of light surface buildup around some of the design elements on the reverse are just as easily forgiven.
