Lot 217 1820 N-13 R1 Large Date. PCGS graded MS-66 Red & Brown.Lustrous bluish steel and olive with underlying mellowed mint red bleeding through in the fields and protected areas. No spots or notable contact marks, but there are traces of an old fingerprint at the bottom of the reverse. MDS with the usual die crack that meanders through the date and stars, most likely from the Randall Hoard of mint state cents. A variety that is common in mint state but this is a really nice one, perfect for a date or type collection. Graded MS65 and tied for CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #59410. Our grade is MS64+.
