- 1814 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102a. Rarity-3. AU-53 (NGC). Struck from very heavily clashed dies this variety shows a raised, reversed LIBERTY on the reverse between the eagle's wing and arrows. This feature is bold and dramatic. The strike is bold and nearly complete with only light wear. Deeply toned in an even slate hue.
