1881 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-63 (NGC). This early proof Morgan Dollar is fully untoned with radiant silver-white surfaces. Wispy hairlines are all that preclude a higher grade, and none are worthy of singular note. Sharply impressed devices exhibit somewhat of a satin texture that contrasts modestly with the surrounding fields.
