1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. FS-801. Doubled Die Reverse. MS-66 (NGC). Pale lilac-gray and peach tones cover surfaces that undoubtedly spent a long life in a paper envelope. Though not as strong as the 1955 Lincoln Cent Doubled Die, the pivoted hub doubling seen here is rather strong though most visible at the lower reverse from the 3:00 to 9:00 positions. Very high grade for this variety.
