- On Target Collection. 1911-S must have been well distributed after production because despite a mintage of 1.4-million, choice examples are very elusive, this being virtually such an example. Indeed, this coin offers a fully choice obverse against a reverse that sees a few too many stray flan abrasions to permit upgrade. Pleasing color and above-average definition will please most collectors.
