1811/10 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101. Rarity-1. Punctuated Date. MS-62 (NGC). Frosty, lustrous lilac-gray surfaces display a smooth, essentially unmarked appearance, exemplary for the assigned grade. An exciting coin to behold, as its strike is well above average for the date. For future identification, a tiny black spot is noted on the "punctuation mark" within the digits of the date. We suspect this example will make Capped Bust enthusiasts sit up and take notice.
