Lot Description

On Target Collection. Judd-754 (R.5) was formerly considered very rare until population reports swelled to the point that the pattern is now considered merely "rare" at best. The appearance here is nearly that of a coin struck in aluminum although of course, this is a "standard silver" half dollar that proclaims as much on the reverse. Stray, inadvertent contact marks and opaque toning undoubtedly determine the grade but this is a finely crafted and well struck example.
