The O-103 die marriage received heavy use at the First Mint, evidenced by the notable die deterioration on the obverse. As a result, strong radial flow lines and vivid luster shine through the toning. The obverse presents as near AU-58, while the reverse shows some weakness on the high points of the eagle. The crack for the second stage die progression discernable along the base of the 1 within the date. Die State 103.2.
