Logan-McCloskey-5 in an interesting die state such that all both loops of each "S" in STATES is filled. The die-marriage identifies by the proximity of the sixth and seventh stars on the obverse, and the way the tail of "R" ends slightly above the lower left foot of "I" in LIBERTY. Some phenomenally high grade examples exist for L&M-5, but for the collector willing to "settle" for a choice example flaunting beautiful album toning, this one fits the bill. Azure, cinnamon-gold, indigo and cobalt hue intermingle around salmon-grey centers.
