1898 Liberty Quarter Eagle. Proof-67 * Ultra Cameo (NGC). Deep orange-gold with lively olive iridescence in&nbsp;a bright light source. The contrast is exceptional and the lively orange toning pops right out at the viewer. One of 165 Proofs of the date produced in the denomination, though probably fewer than that amount were actually sold. Perhaps 70 to 80 or so examples can be traced today with any certainty.
