Proof mintage: 880 pieces, the typical survivor of which is not nearly as well preserved or attractive as offered here; most certified specimens grade no finer than Proof-64. Virtually untoned on the obverse, the reverse is ringed in a halo of chalky-silver patina that provides an interesting appearance.
