Struck during the famous Gold Rush year of 1849! This coin was used for a little purchasing. Still, it has lovely remaining details. A fascinating die-centering mark can be found on the reverse between the E and the N in TEN. It should have been discarded and is an unusual find outside find on any coin, especially outside of the shield on the reverse. CAC approved for quality.
