Lot Description

1808 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-103. Rarity-2. AU-50 (PCGS). This silver-gray specimen offers some blue and russet toning in certain peripheral areas. Abundant mint luster remains over both sides. It has the characteristic joining of AM in AMERICA to aid in attribution, with the scroll ending below the left side of the right upright of the M. The strike is generous, although both sides are struck from lightly eroded dies. There are no other mentionable distractions. PCGS# 6090. NGC ID: 24EP. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
