Bold mirrors and lightly frosted devices combine for a neat two-tone cameo. The mostly untoned central portions of the coin are surrounded by an exquisite blue and violet patina that indicates long years of careful storage in a cardboard or paper holder. Among the finer surviving examples from a proof mintage of 510. PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 7. The PCGS price guide value is $2,600. We sold a similarly graded coin for $2,468 in our Regency 44 Auction in April 2021; the present coin is worth all of that and more. Cert. Number 42352590 PCGS # 86438
