1870 Indian Cent. Bold N. Snow-17. ""Pick-Axe,"" Doubled Die Reverse. MS-66 BN (NGC). Eagle Eye Photo Seal. Bold cartwheel luster sweeps across the rose-gold surfaces with splashes of sea-green and gold at the rims. Sharply struck. Obverse cud-like die break in the war bonnet near the designer's initial somewhat resembles a pick axe, minor doubling noted at the denomination.
