- Obv: The same design that the Mint used coin regular issue 1858 Flying Eagle cents of the Small Letters type. Rev: The denomination ONE CENT within an oak wreath. An olive sprig and a group of three arrows are bound at the base of the wreath. Glorious surfaces are dressed in champagne-pink and warmer tan-apricot colors with nice field to device contrast. This is one of the types distributed by the Mint as part of 12-piece pattern Proof sets, and also popular with advanced Flying Eagle and Indian cent enthusiasts.
