1787 Massachusetts Half Cent. Ryder 4-C, W-5940. Rarity-2. MS-65 BN (PCGS). Incredible quality for a Massachusetts half cent with light tan and glossy brown luster on both sides. The surfaces are free of any distracting scratches or nicks, and one must search to find a hint of verdigris on the eagle's wing or fields. Well struck throughout and a condition rarity that should please any specialist to this series as such high quality is seldom offered and always recognized.
