Lot Description

1845 Seated Liberty Half Dollar. WB unlisted. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. Light silver with a blush of peach toning through the fields with a couple of patches of blue-gray at the rims. Rather sharp for the strike on all but the left talons of the eagle which have minor softness. Moderate scattered handling marks blend well into the surfaces. Light peripheral die cracks in the upper portion of the legend on the reverse. Die clashing on the reverse in the shield and lower right. Ever so slightly repunched date within the triangle of the 4.
