1818/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102a. Rarity-2. Small 8. AU-50 (PCGS). Both sides exhibit handsome peripheral toning in cobalt-blue and copper-rose colors. The balance of the obverse is tinged in "old-silver" patina, while the central reverse is more deeply patinated in mottled tannish-gray hues. A sharp-looking AU with a very pleasing "look."
