Carry A Tune Collection. 12 graded MS-66 BN, 1 higher at PCGS. A grade above MS-64 is very difficult to achieve in conjunction with a "brown" designation, yet that is the calling card for this unusually dark, key Lincoln cent. Granted, the luster is absolutely full and complete on either side, replete with walnut-brown, cobalt-ebony and purple intonations, with the reverse showing minor evidence of streakiness peculiar to 1909 cents. The strike is particularly sharp and incisive, as usual for the "low S" die-marriage, and without doubt, there is plenty of satin texture layered beneath that intriguing patina.
