Walk The Plank Collection. Overton-120 (R.6-). The third edition of Overton was necessary due to the discovery of very rare die-marriages unknown to Overton during the first and second editions, and one such is the 1831 O-120. A tiny tine, two-thirds up the top edge of the upper olive leaf on the reverse, confirms attribution. Perhaps up to a dozen have appeared on the market since discovery in 1970 and this pale example, showing thin patina and a swish of grey in the obverse left field, boasts smooth wear, albeit extensive on both sides.
