1881 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. Type I Reverse. Proof-64 Deep Cameo (PCGS). This coin is a product of careful preservation with wonderfully reflective surfaces with frosted devices. It is also attractively toned around the peripheries of each side as if it had been stored in a cardboard album for many years. One would be hard put to find a sharper Gem specimen of a popular low-mintage issue like this, with not even a smidgen of softness on the stars, legends and main devices.
